NIH Homes Design Team, New Designer at NIH Homes, Genevieve KecGenevieve Kec brings 13-plus years to guiding you through the process of creating spaces with personal touches that reflect being comfortable at home.  She has the eye of a true artist and considers every design project to be similar to a work of art – one that starts as a blank canvas and transforms into a masterpiece.

With a solid construction background, understanding of the design-build relationship, knack for listening, and sharp attention to detail, Genevieve relishes having the opportunity to share her experience, insights and observations with clients.

In NIH Homes Genevieve found a defined difference that blends a friendly and knowledgeable staff with extensive experience in home construction and design build, enhanced by unlimited resources.

Genevieve is a nationally-recognized designer, winning the ABC 2007 National Award of Excellence and the 2008 ABC/DBIA Partnership Award of Recognition of Efficiency in Design/Build.  She also brings extensive experience in space planning, furniture layout, interior/exterior selections, kitchen/bath design and fabric/furniture.

A native of northern Minnesota, Genevieve now lives in Ham Lake.  Having an appreciation for all things outdoors, especially hiking, camping, snowboarding and biking, not only energizes but inspires her.  When she’s not busy with work, Genevieve enjoys spending time with family and friends, volunteering and traveling the world.
