Red, White and Boom
When: July 4th, 2018
Where: Downtown Minneapolis Riverfront

Celebrate America’s Independence Day at Minneapolis Red, White and Boom, a celebration hosted by the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board. The annual event attracts more than 75,000 people to sites along the downtown Minneapolis riverfront, and features live music, great food, fun activities for the whole family, and the grand finale – fireworks!

4thof July Fireworks

Basilica Block Party
When: July 6thand 7th, 2018
Where: Basilica of St Mary

The Basilica Block Party began in 1995 as a fundraiser to help pay for the structural restoration of The Basilica of Saint Mary. Today, proceeds from the event benefit The Basilica Landmark, which preserves, restores and advances the historic Basilica of Saint Mary for all generations. In addition, a portion of all proceeds from The Basilica Block Party go to The Basilica’s St. Vincent de Paul outreach program, which provides services to those in need.

This is the place for music lovers! Performers include: Cake, Borns, Third Eye Blind, Andy Grammar, Delta Rae, The Revolution, Kid Dakota and many, many more.

Duk Duk Daze

From a craft fair to carnival rides, the Duk Duk Daze is the place to be in New Hope this July. Enjoy live music, a petting zoo and watch the New Hope Dance Team do a live performance. There’s a slack line and even a pizza eating contest!!

Sociable Summer: Market Fest

Minneapolis Craft Market returns to Sociable Cider Werks with a series of outdoor summer markets on July 14, August 11, and September 8.

We have a different lineup of makers each time, so visit us all summer long. Our markets are always dog and family-friendly, so bring the whole crew, sip, shop, and spend the day with us.

Marketfest
When: Now through July 26th, 2018
Where: Downtown White Bear Lake
White Bear Lake, MN

Marketfest is a free family festival held in beautiful downtown White Bear Lake on Thursday evenings from 6:00 to 9:00 pm from June 14 to July 26, 2018- rain or shine. Each year Marketfest continues to attract locals and visitors who are interested in a lively, family-friendly atmosphere.

Local businesses and vendors (Over 130 of them) offer a wide variety of food (over 30 food vendors), merchandise, art, and handcrafted goods. And there are numerous activities for children including a petting zoo and games.

Listen to a live at the Kowalski’s Gazebo Stage at 4th and Washington Square or the White Bear Mitsubishi 3rd street stage, in the parking lot at 3rd and Banning. Stroll through the downtown streets visiting local merchants and artists. Relax and enjoy a summer evening with family and friends.

Community Ice Cream Social
When: July 19th, 2018
Where: Stillwater’s Historic Courthouse

The ice cream social is free and open to the public. Bring a blanket and enjoy live music on the lawn. In the event of rain, the event will adapt and move indoors. In the event of inclement weather, the Ice Cream Social will be cancelled. Proceeds from the root beer floats, candy booth and Historic Courthouse merchandise go towards the Historic Courthouse Restoration Fund.

Minnesota Scottish Fair & Highland Games
When: July 20th– 21st, 2018
Where: Eagan Central Park

Come and enjoy our great new Eagan venue, Central Park’s Festival Grounds. Encourage your family, friends and others who may be interested in the culture of Scotland to join us – Scot or not, everyone loves to hear the bagpipes, see strong men in kilts compete in athletic events unique to Scotland, hear traditional & modern Celtic music and more! This year we will also have festivities going on the Friday before the full day event.

Lumberjack Days

Lumberjack Days Celebrations have been, and still are, a part of the history of Stillwater and of the area. Stillwater’s annual community festival began as a salute to our city’s heritage in 1934. More than 80 years later, Lumberjack Days has become as much a part of Stillwater’s past as the tall pines and pioneers that started it all. And, each year a new chapter is added. It must be understood that we can never return to the past, but we can be mindful of all that was proven to be good and carefully blend it with the new.

Loring Park Art Festival

Since 2000, Loring Park Art Festival has combined creative expression and community connectedness to surprise and delight all who attend. With beautiful ponds and formal gardens, Loring Park makes an idyllic spot to celebrate art, music, food and entertainment for two days each summer in downtown Minneapolis.

The event features 140 visual artists selling original work, with something for everyone. Visitors will encounter strolling musicians, scheduled stage performances, engaging children’s activities and adventurous culinary options.
