At this year’s Holiday Ideas House you can expect to see creamy whites, cool blues, celadon, soft greens and shimmering metallic accents mixed in with botanical elements and natural textures. Vintage architectural pieces, such as repurposed porch posts and railings, add historic charm throughout the house. This is not your traditional red and green Christmas! The Bachman designers have completely transformed the historic Bachman family home into a magical destination for the holidays. The house has been repainted, refurnished and redecorated with inspiring ideas for home décor and entertaining.
Each room has a theme of it’s own! From whimsical and luxurious to thrifty and funky – there is a design idea for everyone on the Bachman Holiday Idea House.

The Holiday Ideas House is open 7 days a week, November 10 – December 18. Self-guided tours are sold in 30-minute increments during the following times: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 10-5:30, Thursday: 10-6:30, Saturday and Sunday: 10-3:30. As Seen in the Ideas House
Nearly every item in the Holiday Ideas House is priced for sale. Items with blue dots on their price tags are one-of-a-kind items only available at the house. They can be purchased on a first-come, first-served basis. Buyers can pick up or arrange to have these items delivered after the house closes in December.
Items without blue dots will be available for sale at Bachman’s on Lyndale, while supplies last. Look for “As Seen in the Ideas House” signs inside the store to find the items featured in the house. Many of these items will also be available for sale on Bachmans.com. Shop Ideas House Product now.
